Twist-in piping / The transformation of the welding myth

Ihara is a pioneering manufacturer of the fireless construction method with over 80 years of history.

Piping still primarily relies on "welded construction" and "threaded piping." I believe this is due to the "myth" that it is simple, reliable, and safe. However, there are various challenges associated with "welding" and "threading" in piping, such as: - Decrease in skilled workers due to aging - Variability in quality - Time and effort required for preparation, post-processing, and dimension alignment In response to these challenges, "screw joints" do not require threading, welding, flaring, or brazing, which reduces the labor involved in piping and allows anyone to easily and quickly use the product anywhere. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.*

Welding Myths (Leak Trouble Edition) [Piping Maintenance]

Ihara is a pioneer of the flame-free construction method with over 80 years of history.

Piping still primarily relies on "welding construction." I believe this is due to the "welding myth" that welding is easy, reliable, and safe. However, there are various challenges associated with piping welding: - Decrease in skilled workers due to aging - Variability in quality - Time and effort required for preparation and post-processing In response to these challenges, we propose optimal methods tailored to fluids and applications using products like the "Kui Komi Joint" (length-adjustable joint) and "Oi-sugu Flange," which can be easily and quickly implemented by anyone, anywhere. This achieves approximately a 76% reduction in construction time compared to welded piping. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.*
